For the third year in a row, iTunes has named Podrunner a "Best Podcast." This time we show up under "Classics: Audio." Wow, top o' the heap (out of approx. 150,000 podcasts) and classic — thanks (again), iTunes!

iPRONG INTERVIEW WITH STEVE BOYETT

A TIP OF THE DERBY
Steve Boyett will be spinning at The Derby in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 8, at midnight. (Sorry we couldn't announce this sooner; this was a last-minute gig.) If all goes well the set will end up as a Groovelectric mix.

ANNOUNCE OF PREVENTION
The March issue of Prevention recommends Podrunner! Microsoft Zune Marketplace debuted a few days ago, and their new podcasting section shows Podrunner and Groovelectric as #1 and #2 podcasts in the Music category.

The October issue of SELF Magazine (not the issue pictured) gives a nice mention to Podrunner in "Fitness Flash" on p. 112. Says SELF: "Our tester tried a steady 150-bpm mix on her run, and it helped her go the distance." Then they rated us a B+. Say what?

It looks as if I'll be spinning at two theme camps at this year's Burning Man. I've never been to a Burning Man before, and I'm ecstatic that this is the way I'm jumping in. I don't have dates & set times yet, so stay tuned!

Podrunner Passes 5 Million Downloads!
Download number 5,000,000 occurred for Podrunner sometime Saturday, May 12. Podrunner had its first million downloads within six months of its debut. Six months after that it crossed the 3,000,000 mark, a 300% increase. Download #5,000,000 comes just slightly over 15 months after Podrunner's debut.

Coach Jenny Recommends Podrunner!
Coach Jenny Hadfield (Marathoning for Mortals, Running for Mortals) calls Podrunner "the king of training tools" in her Runners World blog. "It is quite a zen-like experience because you don't have to think about how quick your feet are moving, you just keep running to the beat," she writes. "Like dancing to music, you get lost in the rhythm, and before you know it the run is over." She also details how to determine your stride rate.

On Sunday, March 25, Podrunner had its four-millionth download. Kewl, eh?

Podrunner will have its four-millionth download this week. Currently Podrunner is the world's #1 Music Podcast and #16 overall. Podrunner may be the most-downloaded DJ mix on the planet.

Groovelectric remains in the Top 80 Music Podcasts, expected to climb to the Top 50 with the release of the next mix.

Podrunner and Groovelectric had their first birthday Feb. 27. In the last year the podcasts had an unbelievable four million downloads.
